![]() ![]() Today in free time though, I couldn't find my big brother Todson, he said that he would be back after an hour or so I decided to look for him around the town's of France, I wasn't a sport at speaking or reading french but I had at least understood most of what people around me said, like once when i wanted to buy a painting can for bro, the old man with a rough but unique french accent said to me MINITUNE TI HOW TO200gig of music is not easy to deal with without the ability to sort the list alphabetically.Life with only my big brother wasn't as easy as I expected, no our parents aren't dead yet.but we just can't find where they are, they probably got wasted or some crazy business like that.My mother said that father was about to suicide when he found out something terrible has happened to big bro, with me,nothing was ever wrong with big bro because he's a good guy, again.i'm just a fourteen year old telling you all of what happened after our parents had left us alone in this mysterious, but amusing theater. For quite some time, my brother had been performing shows with many marvelously painted Marionette's,usually he spent half of his free time teaching me how to attach the strings of a marionette the correct way so that the marionette can move by the order of your finger tips. ![]() The player is absolutely beautiful and works like a champ! The only thing I can’t seem to find that I really need is a way to sort the left pane. Hopefully this will help someone else having a similar issue. MINITUNE TI FULLInstalling this package got me full sound and functionality. ![]() I opened up synaptic and searched for phonon and found kcm-phonon-xine in the list, version 4:4.4.2-0ubuntu4.1. I uninstalled the xine back end like was suggested and it didn’t make a difference. It opened the file and looked like it was playing, eg the progress bar was slowly chugging to the right but no sound. a few images were not downloaded from Last FM but that’s to be expected considering not everything is probably tagged 100% correct in a large library. Took about 1.5 hours to load around 200 gigabytes of music. It compiled just fine, started up and scanned my library folder. Running Minitunes 1.1.0 on lucid originally installed with gnome but ended up preferring KDE 4.4.2 so I installed it from the repos. I can’t think of more off the top of my head but those would definitely make finally me ditch iTunes for good. This is something iPrunes won’t do since Evil Stevil won’t support no fruit except apples. I’m sure that these things are planned but: (very clever to put a play icon on mouse over). – offer different views (text list beside images), I must say that I love the cover style but I’d prefer to use text. ![]() – make it more OSX HID like (icons above all) I won’t repeat other comments and suggestions but I say I basically agree to these points: I keep my music library small on OSX since I rarely boot into it (of course, I prefer Linux :P) so importing was not a problem. I’m not adventurous on OSX (not as much as I’m on Linux, I prefer to keep it “clean”) and I installed the 0.1 demo dmg on Snow Leopard 10.6.4 without any issue. Indeed I really like Minitunes minimalism and cleanness and I’m sure it will grow better everyday. MINITUNE TI MACIt’s since I own a Mac that I’m looking for an alternative to iPrunes. They were talking about small interesting projects, and I agree with them. I stumbled upon your blog when I first red about Minitubes and Minitubes on a blog last week. ![]()
